My Dad (The Talk-About-Books Series, No 6)
Published in Hardcover by Annick Pr (July, 1991)
Authors: Debbie Bailey and Susan Huszar
Average review score:

Our 14-month old loves this book!
Our toddler loves this book and we read it multiple times each day. The photos show a multicultural array of fathers and children doing a variety of different activities. It's a board book, written for a very young audience; I'm not claiming it's Shakespeare! But it and it's companion, "My Mom", make a nice addition to a baby's library.

My Mom (The Talk-About-Books Series, No 5)
Published in Hardcover by Annick Pr (January, 2003)
Authors: Debbie Bailey and Susan Huszar
Average review score:

Wonderful for New Mothers!
We're using this book for a project with our local hospital. Each new mother and baby receive a copy of the book and a packet of information about the importance of reading to the child. We felt the new mothers would like the message in the book so well, they would want to read it frequently to their baby. This is a joint project of the Weslaco Public Library, the Weslaco Rotary and Knapp Medical Center.

My Pants Are Wet, But I Didn't Do It!
Published in Paperback by Bright Mountain Books, Inc. (15 November, 1997)
Authors: George Wilkins and Wendy Wilkins Bailey
Average review score:

A great break for educators!
Mr. Wilkins was my principal at Bruce Drysdale Elementary and what a wonderful man he was! He has captured a side of education that all of us need now and then, light-hearted comments from children and their parents. Whatever the subject, children are brutally honest and often see the world more clearly than we do.(As some of the notes from parents show, we often know where the kids get their ideas about things!) As an educator myself, I enjoy picking up this book when I need a reminder of why I am in the profession. It reminds me of the joys I experience daily with my own students and their parents!

Native Air: Stories from the Bestselling Sleeping at the Starlite Motel
Published in Audio Cassette by Dove Books Audio (October, 1995)
Author: Bailey White
Average review score:

A Breath of Fresh Air
Bailey White's voice says as much as her words. Her writing is poetry, with periods. Her syntax is southern, only better: she likes her subjects. You hear the cicadas, the crickets, and the alligators. You smell the earth and the old books. You are there, and don't feel the chiggers. You are not only delighted and surprised by her observations, but enriched by her touch.

The Near Death Experience: A Reader
Published in Paperback by Routledge (August, 1996)
Authors: Lee Worth Bailey and Jenny L. Yates
Average review score:

Great Book
I read this book for my Anthropology of Death course. It is the best book that I have read for any of my classes. It looks at all aspects of death, it integrates different opions from doctors, psychologists, and other people who have had near death experiences. It discusses the stages of dying and the NDE. It was a great book. It gets you thinking about what could be beyond.

Published in Hardcover by Trident Press International (December, 2001)
Authors: Eileen Bailey and Trident Press International
Average review score:

A WEALTH OF INFORMATION
This reference is literally a wealth of information at your fingertips sitting on your desk. I ordered it for my wife who is a MSN care/case manager on a rehabilitation unit. I think she will find the many books in the set helpful in assisting her to save time while doing a great job in a more informed manner.

On Writing Short Stories
If you are looking for a guide through the mire of writing short fiction, you can't go wrong with this book! ONE STEP TOO FAR BAILEY PARTY OF FIVE 3
Published in Mass Market Paperback by Simon Pulse (February, 1998)
Author: Megan Stine
Average review score:

This is a great book for kids who are in Bailey's condition.
This is a great book! I think this book would help express Bailey's feelings about getting used to living without parents and drinking (if he were real).

The Osage and the Invisible World: From the Works of Francis LA Flesche (Civilization of the American Indian Series, Vol 217)
Published in Paperback by Univ of Oklahoma Pr (Trd) (March, 1999)
Authors: Garrick A. Bailey and Francis LA Flesche
Average review score:

Non-Native and Native alike should not pass this one up!
This book is essential in the library of all Native Americans and Non-Native Americans alike. Forget the old stereotypes, this work based on the intense research of Francis LaFlesche, an anthropologist and Native himself, blows all pre-conceived notions of Native thought and society. The intense and complex cosmological musings harken back to the Greek philosophers and Eastern Taoism and Confucianism. Finally something that truly shows the complexity and diversity of the original peoples of this continent.
